Thinking and expanding on various aspects of Blackness and the Black experience I’ve  begun to delve into other facets of migration such as water, the connection to water, the ocean, lakes, seas, and pools, bodies of water in the various places Black people move to and call home.

Bodies of Water (2023) explores the histories of the waterways, the birth of the Black Atlantic, and connections between Black bodies and water. Using the imagery of baptism, the artist is also effectively regenerated, again and again.
